I am a fan of the first Punisher movie. Yes, I admit it. I enjoyed the dopey film. I even marked out for the weirdo guitar song “In Time”. I also thought it was a dopey idea to release the film on the same day as KILL BILL. Had the Punisher had its own weekend it would have done a little better. Then again, they made a sequel anyway. This time around Ray Stevenson takes over the role in a seemingly more violent sequel PUNISER WAR ZONE. While most of you already know this, many of you may not have yet seen the many cool action photos from the film. So, check them out care of Comic2film.

On a side note, the villain is comic perennial Jigsaw. Of course, Jigsaw is also the name of the villain from the SAW franchise. I am pretty sure this is the first time two villains in two different franchises had the same name….but I could be wrong.

And by the way….have you noticed how awful the SAW films are becoming with Jigsaw drifting into the sidelines as a peripheral figure. But I digress…….
