World That Time Forgot

I’m old. How old am I? I am old enough to remember the creepy closing scene of 1973’s THE LAND THAT TIME FORGOT. No, I did not see it in theaters when it first came out. I do remember when it aired on ABC television in the late 1970’/early 1980’s. I also remember the sequel THE PEOPLE THAT TIME forgot. In a way, these films were a B-movie version of JURASSIC PARK. Unfortunately, these classic films are mostly forgotten as are the outstanding novels they are based on. Then, here comes Bruce Jones with the excellent 12 issue mini-series THE WORLD THAT TIME FORGOT.

It is difficult to review a 12 part series when it is only up to issue 6. But, this is an excellent series that mixes military adventure, science-fiction, and big, mean dinosaurs. That is a mix that can never be boring. Check the series out. It is unique and offbeat and engaging. Recommended.
